Tasty, authentic traditional cuisine

In our welcoming, light-filled restaurant you can sample both authentic dishes from Alpine cuisine or Mediterranean classics, while enjoying the stunning view over the surrounding Dolomite landscape, even better after sipping an aperitif in our bar. When preparing our dishes we take particular care to cater for people with food allergies. To meet the needs of our guests with celiac disease we have devised a gluten-free menu for which we have been accredited by the Italian Celiac Association.

Our cuisine: fresh local ingredients

Our cuisine is varied, light, tasty and imaginative, ideal after a day spent playing sport, exploring the local culture and traditions, or just relaxing and enjoying the sense of wellbeing created by the Dolomites.
We prepare simple, authentic dishes starting with carefully selected ingredients. Vegetables and aromatic herbs from our kitchen garden, fresh ingredients and local produce, combined with the skills and experience of our chefs, are just right for conquering even the fussiest and almost demanding of palates.

Ever since 2016, after taking the courses run by the  Italian Celiac Association, we have been part of the accredited network of caterers offering dishes for people with gluten intolerance.
We have set aside a special area in our kitchen, separated from the rest, for preparing dishes that enable our guests with celiac disease to enjoy tasty, appetising gluten-free dishes.

Dinner menus

After a day spent hiking in the mountains, skiing on the miles of snow-covered pistes or in the saddle of your bicycle, you can come back to the hotel, reward yourself and recharge your batteries with the delicious dishes prepared by our chefs.
On special occasions, such as the weekly Tyrolean evening, or on New Year's Eve, dinner time here at the Hotel Union becomes even more of a party at which to savour the pleasures of the table in a convivial family atmosphere. The traditional recipes we use and our gourmet dishes, accompanied by our marvellous selection of wines and beers can't help but surprise and delight your palate.

Our desserts

A dessert provides that hug that brings the meal to a close, time for a sweet treat, the final note with which to tickle the palate. This is precisely why we take enormous care when making our desserts. You can sample typical Tyrolese sweets or international recipes or gluten-free desserts, all prepared with loving care and attention to detail by our chefs.
Our local fruit, milk and eggs and home-made jam blend with fine ingredients and special recipes to create desserts that are also a feast for the eyes.
