 Rollerski and mountain bike                                                 

In summer the cross country ski tracks, used in winter also for important events such as the Worldcup and the Tour de Ski, turn into roller ski ways and cycle tracks.

Famous routes also for occasional lovers, such as the Dolomiti cycle-tracks from Dobbiaco to Calalzo (62 km of cross country ski and skating slopes with a high of 762 m) and the Drava cycle track that started from Dobbiaco, crosses Lienz in Austria (50 km of cross country ski and skating slopes with a high of 570 m) and goes on until Maribor in Slovenia 295 km of cross country ski and skating slopes with a high of 1000 m).

 Dolomiti Superbike                                                                 

It is one of the most important european appointment of the mountain bike races in which the route lovers can find their ideal place.

There are two types of routes: one for the expert that last 111 km with a high of 3000 m and one for the less trained of 59 km wuth a high of 1500 m.

The Tre cime marathon that takes place in august represent what all lovers want: competition, fresh air and an amazing szenario.

Also for whom prefer to do only a calm and quite walk, Dobbiaco is the right place!
                                                                                                      

Golf                                                                                    

Lovers of this sport have a lot of changes. At only 12 km from the hotel in Valdaora , you find a driving range where you can train your swing. For whan cannot stay away from the green Hotel Union is in a strategic position for reacling in zero minutes beautiful facilities:

- the new Golf Club Cortina, recently opened ( 9 holes) ;

- the Dolomitengolf in Lienz ( Austria , 27 holes);

- the Golf Pusteria in Riscone (Brunico, 9 holes).

Indeed in summer Dobbiaco is not only for sport lovers!

It is a strategic place also for who prefer to relax or take a walk because there are lots of saver excursion of different difficulties and climbing choices that gives you the choice to get in touch with the surrounding nature and the beautiful mountains recently recognized from the UNESCO human heritage.  

Rivers and lakes                                                                         

Dobbiaco means also water.

Cross by 2 natural sources (the Drava that rises in Cima Nove and flows into Danubio, and the Rienza that rises in Tre Cime Di lavaredo and flows into the Adriatico See).

In the municipality territory there are also 2 extraordinary alpin lakes : Dobbiaco lake easly reached by foot and the ladro lake , located in the centre of the famous mountains.

From to 2008 there is also the natural lake of Dobbiaco a artificial swimming pool without chlorine because the reclami happens in a natural way through the use of particolar plants.
